In May 2019, SEARHC announced the completion of an agreement with White’s Inc. for the latter to become the pharmacy services provider at the long-term care facility in Sitka. It represents the next progression in the ongoing merger of SEARHC and the Sitka Community Hospital that will eventually lead to a fully comprehensive healthcare service for the community’s residents.
White’s will have a leading hand in all of the pharmacy operations at the long-term care facility. They will operate alongside attending physicians and leadership in administration and nursing to craft a set of best practices for the pharmacy service.
